the blue hour

The blue hour. An Hai Beach, Con Dao Islands, Vietnam.  (2011).

The Blue Hour (Tilt-Shift 2)
Tilt your head around my way, we'll see this to the end;
No longer I can fight you where
Our thoughts and words leave little spared
But karmas bruised and hearts despaired
With nothing to defend.

Let's waste no time and float away
These hurtful hands, divisive ways
To far-off places yet unnamed
Where tempests fade and harbours save
Our faint-lit hopes for better days.

Shift your dear eyes onto mine, and feel what we'll discover here;
Soul and silence, endless summer,
Sleepless dreams for one another
Steel our time beyond forever,
Staving off our greatest fears.

We'll share broad vistas, perfect views,
Horizons lost in shades of blue
Past sunbeamed flowers after rain,
Where memories colour true again;
Beneath the stars, in all we do,
Through all the years, I'll still love you.
