As the dog days of summer twilight from their zenith, new posts roll off the production line at a lazy, idle pace - much to the chagrin of the editor. Well, sometimes, there just isn't much to say. But in this stop-and-go summer, before long it'll be time to move again ... and, in that, maybe something significant will become of it somewhere, somehow.

A road trip (back) west, begins tomorrow.

Spending time with the fam. Here's a shot I like of my little niece. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. (2008).

A snapshot of my nephew and brother-in-law. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. (2008).

Colourful LEDs light up the Victoria Bridge in Saskatoon. (2008).

Light trails on the Broadway Bridge, Saskatoon. (2008).

  1. What nice looking kids! ;)

  2. They're getting so big. And beautiful. Make sure to give them lots of kisses before you fly away...

It was really great to see you! We miss you around here.

  3. Sadly the name Victoria Bridge has recently been changed to Traffic Bridge. The reason? Well, some idiotic politically correct radicals insist that the term Victoria remind them of a painful British colonial era. The same idiotic city administration thought it was a great idea that they too wanted to be politically correct. Saskatoon is basically a bridge city and as such the word "traffic" seems rather stupid to say the least.

  4. Anonymous ... of course they are, they're related to me!

Donna ... great seeing you, too. Who knows? I might be back before you know it.

Sohobutterfly ... thanks! But sorry I missed you when I was in the neighbourhood. :(

Runrui ... the name "Traffic Bridge" is so bad, it's almost good. But it'll always be the Victoria Bridge to me ...
