hey baby!

My new little nephew is one cute baby. He's cuter than you. He's maybe even cuter than me. Well, maybe. I'm pretty cute. But either way, here's a picture of the little guy at the local Burger King. Photo provided courtesy of Grandpa (not my Grandpa - his Grandpa, also known as my dad).

  2. He looks like an under inflated three year old, but adorable in a Herve Villechaize kind of way. With any luck, lurching behind those eyes, at present entirely reliant on the compassion, care, benevolence, and parental guilt of others and many, is the God-like quality that can bring Ontario into the promise of truth, harmony and the truly made-in-Canada solution that is the Passport System of Securities Regulatory Reform that can, whether we need it or not, especially with the TSX boasting of the biggest ever trading volume in 04/05 on their exchange despite the rants of former TSX CEO Barb Stymiest complaining ever so bluntly of Canada’s fractured “Bosnian” style of current provincial regulation that is somehow retarding the growth of Canada’s capital markets and damaging the position of Canada as a place to invest in, finally recognize Canada’s inherent diversity whilst being a competitive and ultimately profitable place for the world to invest in.

I bet the guy that kept the ball in lane politically on this file was a bloody genius.

  4. It's clearly an issue of irresponsible spending on the part of the Canadian government but this fact is cliche by now. I can't believe the general disinterest in politics of Canadian people. The wheels turn and nothing can stop it. We need a new system and I propose we use the internet and the connectability of computers to create a system where everyone actually has their say by way of a direct vote on any and all issues. It's possible to do! We HAVE the technology! Sure, you're just a number but at least you're not a number who is complaining to a guy who complains to a bunch more guys.
