With new job, new apartment, and, ostensibly, new outlook after a summer of sea changes ... here we are, back again.  Looking around, this seems to be a dangerous time for many reasons we won't get into now, but in typical starfish and waffles fashion, we'll take comfort in the simple things, like a nice cup of coffee, good friends, or a random smile.
